At NASA, we offer the most unique and revolutionary way of learning. Through hands-on visual art projects, students not only learn to appreciate art, they also explore abstract concepts of math and science. The knowledge gained in our art and science classes with stunning projects will inspire participants for years to come.
NASA is a nurturing environment for both adults and children to learn and have fun.
Prior to his current position, Christopher Tse had successfully applied his knowledge of polymer science in developing disposable and peelable wall paint. This patent pending invention provides a temporary wall transformation without damaging the existing wall finishing. The highest priority in his science research is to develop eco-friendly and marketable products.
In art, Christopher is accomplished in the use of a wide variety of sculptural techniques and materials, including ceramics, wood, textiles and mixed-media and found object art. His “two-dimensional” art skills include drawing and watercolor. He has also worked in video installation. His work is smart, funny, and extremely well-crafted. Christopher has also created a number of ambitious sewn projects, including “art garments” as well as functional fashion designs.
For the last three years, Christopher's has been a teaching assistance in fine art and engineering programs at San Jose State University.
